The Zero Autopsy

A standing challenge for tracker zeros: run our free audit on the same domain. We commit in advance to what we will tell you either way — pass, or blocked.

Audit

Record what each named protocol observed.

Diagnose

Trace each production finding to evidence.

Verify

Re-run the protocol required by the remediation.

Your tracker says zero. A zero does not tell you which of two very different things happened: the market ignored you, or the AI systems could not read your site. Those two zeros have opposite causes. The tracker's question is whether you were cited; the question underneath it — could the AI systems read your site at all — is the one our audit answers, with sealed evidence.

The challenge

You already have the tracker's zero — keep it. Run our audit on the same domain and put the two results side by side. The single-page check is free, needs no account and no card, and takes about a minute. If you want a site-wide reading, the free tier also includes one full 25-URL site audit per account — see the pricing page for the exact allowance.

What we commit to, before you run anything

If your site passes, we say so. The zero is not explained by your site being unreadable. That is a real finding, not a consolation: it is a sealed, re-verifiable result, and it eliminates the one explanation your tracker never tests. Our own published record shows the other branch is live — one blocked run in six.

If the audit finds blocked access, empty content, or unintelligible pages, you know what the zero was made of. The report carries the request-by-request evidence in a sealed evidence bundle you can re-verify at /verify. What happens next is yours; we do not promise that fixing it changes citations — our own outcome study is still running.

Our own autopsy, published

Our own scheduled audit returned five sealed PASS runs between October 23 and October 25, 2026, published alongside the one run that came back AI Access Blocked. The full record, with digests, is in our post AI was blocked from our own site.

And we have the same tracker zero you do. In our weekly brand-visibility battery (46 prompts across three AI systems, run every week since September 2026), our brand appears in the brand-specific prompts and does not appear in the category prompts — 0 of 34, every week so far. Until the battery's method and raw results publish with our study's first report, that number is our word, not our published evidence — we will not excerpt them early to make a point.

What an autopsy cannot tell you

One scan is one point in time, and access is episodic — we published our own one-day block. What the autopsy settles is narrower and checkable: what AI systems actually received from your site, request by request, on the record.
